An Ode To Procrastination.

No lady! Don't encourage me!

My name is Holly, and oh, how I love to waste time,

Daydreaming of NYC, new ways to reduce frizz and increase shine.

Cravings for macarons, thanks to the witty Ms. Critique,

Have you checked out her blog? It’s incredibly chic!

University; unfortunately viewed as a means to an end,

Essays and exams, you are not my friend.

Impatient at the very least, distracted at the worst,

I begrudgingly accept that one needs an education first!

Calm down and be patient they say, your goals will be met,

But it’s all one can do but sigh and ask, Am I There Yet?!

I need to stick this above my desk... Source: http://trickylittleimp.wordpress.com/

hhahahaha I love it!!! I’m am in the midst of major procrastinating. Haven’t been to sleep for 29 hours because of this bloody assignment! -not that the majority of the time I’ve been awake has been spent on it, of course…

HA HA – too much technology to distract ones beautiful mind. When I was studying (yes, yes, all those years ago) I used to leave the Remington typewriter and make excuses that I had to clean the house or wash dishes….. the house was spotless when I had an assignment due. Try that……

Hahah, this is WAY too funny..I love how you came up with a poem in the midst of procrastionating! Tsk tsk. I’m the worst for it too, but as long as you get it done, it’s all good!
    Hope you’re having a good week. 🙂
